How long to get the biometrics notice after approval

My 485 was approved on 05/19 and I received the approval letter on 05/23. How long does it typically take to get the biometrics notice after approval.

I received the approval email on 5/18 and the approval notice a week later. The letter asked me not to do anything and further instruction will follow. If I dont receive any more instruction then I should call them. Its already a month and I haven't received any instructions yet.


kalki_gc, does your letter ask you to go for Bio or stamping? Mine just asked me to wait for further instruction.

Same here guys.
Approved on 05/09/05. Received the letter 0n 5/12. It did not say to go for passport stamp.
Since, the nearest ASC is in Charlotte, NC, which is 3-hour drive, I decided to wait.
Still nothing.

Will fill out the form as 60 days pass.

Mine approved on 2nd June 2005. Got a call from lawer that he received the approval letter.


As I live pretty close to District office Charlotte, ( 15 min drive) think of stamping anyway.

I got the Biometric letter 5 weeks after my I-485 approval.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as michaelfe - approval 5/1o, nothing since then. The closest office is 3 hours away. I'm not going to waste a day on it.
