My lawyer told me my I485 file had been reveived by VCS on Aug.29 according to the postal return notice. But my checkes haven't been cashed. Does anybody know how long it takes to get receipt notice?
I received a few replies to my posting asking similar question. People have said that filing in VSC, it cud be as fast as 2 weeks, in most cases within 3 weeks people receive their Receipt notices.
