How long to get I-129 for new H1 case at VSC?

Hi friends,
Please let me know if anybody knows that How long does it take to get I-129 after my lawyer send all papers to VSC? My lawyer said that he sent all papers a month ago i.e. Mid December, It is already a month & still i haven\'t get my File Number from my lawyer.
i want to check actual time to get I-129 file no. so i can know that where the things are screwed up, at lawyer or at INS?

dear , it will take around 3 weeks to get case no. and after case no. you add more 3 months. for example in my case i got case no. on 9/29
and i got approval on 12/30

so after file the petition you wait for more 3 months to approve then more 15 dyas to get "notice of approval" . so total time around 4 months. so i think in end of march you will get visa.
