How long should we get FP notice

Hi, all:

I sent out the 485 in Dec. 2003 and got the receipt for that too. However, I still didn't receive any notice for finger print so far. Anyone has similar expericence? What should I do?

Don't worry. You should get it in 4-6 months of applying I-485..Meanwhile keep cleaning your fingers regularly for the next few years..who knows how many times you need to give the prints??

It used to be depending on your state, NJ was about 3 to 4 months from date of receipt.

Right now it is a waiting game from all sides. I would SAY, do not worry abou that right now . Just make sure you get you EAD and AP.

Thanks a lot. I am applying from Virginia. Talking about AP, I was planning a trip in April. I sent out the application in December. They said it takes only 30 to 60 days. My lawyer also told me that we would for sure get it. Now three months have passed, still no response. Probably would have to apply for visas at the embassy. :(
 
Welcome to our world... People who try to predict the behaviour of USCIS... but never get success, and then loose the confidence.
