How long should I stay after getting green card?

Dear friends,

Still waiting for 485 approval and my attorney said I should
go back to the state NJ because we posted my ads on newspaper
while filing for labor certificate and mentioned the position
is in the state of NJ, even though I am working in another
state VA now. What do you guys think?

Plus how long should I stay in the company? Thanks!
