How long out of US

My Wife is currently in India.She is visiting just over 4 months to take her exams.Will she be questioned while she is entering US why she was gone for so long ? Does she has to show any proof of residence in US or any proof that she had gone to India to give her exams ?
We got our GC for almost 4-5 months now.

I assume you were saying that your wife will only be out of the US for 4 months. If that is the case, then she'll be fine. Just make sure that she doesn't stay abroad for more than 6 months at a time, unless absolutely necessary. If she is away for more than a year, then she risks losing her green card.
