I received my green card based on asylum in September 2008. In october 2008, I applied for a rtd based on my asylee green card status. I recently received the receipt notice from Nebraska Service Center with my receipt number on it and that they received my payment for the application and biometrics. My notice date is 10/30/2008. How long does it take for them to send/issue you a biometric notice now that they sent you a receipt notice for your rtd application? How long should I wait for this biometric notice to arrive? A month/ couple of weeks?
I am still in the USA and will not travel until I have this rtd in my hand. I am not using my national passport to travel. Anyone who recently applied for rtd please let me know. Thanks.
