How long need be wait after assign to case worker

Last week, I talk to the NSC IIO (First time), asking about my case.
She say" Your case already assign to case worker"

My question: How long will take to approve after assign to someone ?
 
one way or the other : less then 10 days or one month for REF

get approved in one week - 10 days or a REF would be issued.

Good luck with your case and thanks for all your contributions.

I remember your advises on AP. Would like to know your opinion. I had a trip to Russia 1 week and crossed border in Chicago Ohare in October on AP. I was not sure if I need to file I94 (which is required if you are crossing on H1/L1) - stuardess told me I don\'t need i94 so I didn\'t file. I was admited back w/o problems and got my AP stamped and copied as you indicated.

Now if I didn\'t file I94 - does INS think of my I485 as abandoned? Any guess here?
