I am trying to get an estimate how long more I have to wait for approval. My case details
RD 01/14/2002
ND 01/25/2002
Fp1 05/22/2002
Fp2 03/30/2004
Contacted local cogressman in Dec 2003 and got reply as my 2nd FP notice is coming. It is already 45 days after 2nd FP. What sould be a better course of action next. Thanks

Estimate does no good. Many people play the game to lose.

Just think about the forthcoming long weekend.. and enjoy.

SORRY ABOUT THE TITLE. But what can one say???? We are all in a deep black hole which one cannot see but can only feel the gravitational force. Even light cannot escape that.... One can only pray to the almighty to see if he can help us

As tough as it is to give an estimate, the fact that you have received the 2nd FP notice means there is movement in your case, which is not the case for all of us  Anyhow, I would be expecting any of the following paths of action to happen in the next 1-2 months:

1. Approval, which in that case you can expect in 1-3 months
2. RFE, in which case, you can expect approval 1-3 months after the RFE
3. Transfer, in which case, you are at the mercy of the local office and those processing times greatly vary

In all probability, you will see action on your case in the next 1-4 months.
