how long it takes to re've RFE to Lawyer

MY lawyer is in boston and for me RFE was issued on Mar 10 2004 from CSC.
Called lawyer and he said that he has not re'ved yet.
for my guess any ordinary mail from west coast to east coast does not take more then 5 business days.

So how Long RFE takes.
Any ideas.

I would say it depends on the effciency of your lawyer's office.

My lawyer's office processes lots of immigrant cases, thus for every RFE I have been getting in the past (3 so far, from LC, 140, EAD for dependent), I saw it one month after my online status was changed. I have asked about the delay and the paralegal explained that for every mail they received, they need to scan it in the system, then route it to corresponding lawyer, the lawyer would read through it, then it gets sent to the client. But for something mailed to me directly from CSC(like EAD card), I got it after no more than 3 days. And again, for every thing I submitted to the lawyer, she filed it to CSC a month after I dropped it to the office. So for my status change from RFE to RFE Received, it usually takes 2 months, which really sucks.
