How Long It Takes To Get Pwd In Texas?

Could anyone who has experience with the PWD for Texas state help with this question?

How long does it take to actually get the PWD once applied for? Please help.

My attorney is srarting this process of PERM and he does not have a clue on TX.
Are you converting your existing case or doing a fresh PERM ? Do you think there is enough time to get the PERM process completed in time for the retrogression to take effect?
