how long it take to get green card in the mail?

Hi Guys
My father landed as an immigrant 5 weeks ago. He did not get anything from USCIS in the mail as of today. No welcome notice nothing. How long it take to get the green card in the mail after landing?
 
My parents entered on May 30th and as of today( June 19th) no sign of GC. I called USCIS and were told we should something within 30 days and emphesised that it might not nessecery be GC and could be welcome notice.I am suggesting to contact USCIS if 30 days has past from enteing US.
