How long it is taking to process AP in TSC?

Does anyone knows how long it takes to process AP in TSC? One of my friend has applied AP on Aug 2003 and he want to leave to India on emergency grounds.

Does local Atlanta BCIS office issue AP on the same day? Thanks

Looks like TSC is processing AP applied around 04/07/2003. It might take about 4 - 5 months for your friend's AP approval.

This AP crap is becoming a pain in the neck ...

Wish TSC expedites the process ...

Just for your information, I applied my AP in FEP 18, 2003 and I got the approval only a couple of days back.

Basically it all depends upon the officer in the local office, there is no solid rule. If the officer wants he can give for any reasons but unfortunatley the officers (Republican Americans) are treating the immigration seekers very badly without any heart.

Any way , what I heard from experienced people is, one can get emergeny AP only for unfortunate things like death or sickness after showing tons of documents and not for good things like wedding , functions and vacations etc.

Whatever reason might be , your friend can try with some proper documents. He might get if he can find a good hearted officer.
