No thats not true...... medical exams are valid unless INS ask you to go for medical exam again!!!

Medical is valid for 1 year from the date you take your Medial to the date you file your I485. That means if you have already applied for I-485 along with the Medical, it will never expire.

This was told by an immigration lawyer to me .

PKLAL is almost correct. Medical exams are valid unless INS asks you to go for medical exam again. Only thing that is required is that you need to file i-485 within a specific time period after completing your medical exam.
