How Long is it taking to Receive Card/Doc in mail? Anyone?

On Sept 17, the website said that my EAD document had been mailed to me, I have been waiting anxiously and checking my mail as my previous one expired Sept 22. I have since been put on Leave.

I checked the website today and it say that "On Sept 26, card production has been ordered" I thought the doc had been mailed, is this moving backward? and why will it take 10 day btw approval and order.

Which date should I pay attention to? Does anyone know how long it takes from 1st date of approval to receiving the doc?
 
i got the same msg .i`ve been waiting for 17 days already and when i called they said :"document mailed " actually doesnt mean its mailed to u,it means they started the procedure-printing ,preparing the papers AND BLAH BLAH,u have to wait more...
i wonder does it take 2 weeks to print and make a doc???how slow is that?
 
I received a 'card production ordered' email on Sept 27th and again on Oct 1. Then an 'EAD approved' email on Oct 5th. Biometrics were done on Sept 26th and EAD arrived in the mail today, Oct 5th.
