How long is it taking to get the plastic card?

How long is it taking to get the actual plastic card. INS lady who stamped my passport said it will take upto 1 yr. I guess than was a standard statement and does not reflect the actual time? Has any one approved between Jan-May 2004 received the card?

Hello,

My passport got stamped in March and I got my plastic around 2 months, but you can check this info in Plastic Card Tracker spread sheet for avg analysis.

The Excel Spreadsheet here on this forum (on tracker) shows that on an average it takes 20 days to receive card after stamping.
