How long is it currently taking to get a bio-metrics appointment?

Hi,

I recently filed an I-90 to renew my Greencard. When I view my case status online it is listed as being under initial review. The USCIS website also says that appointments for bio-metric testing will mostly be received within 30 days.

My quesiton is, what is your current experience as far how long it is taking between submitting paper work and receiving the notification for a bio-metrics appointment?

It has been about 40 days for me and I'm starting to get worried (hopefully needlessly so). I called the national information number but they don't seem to have any information.

Biometrics appointment will be usually notified to the applicant within 30 days. USCIS may have sent it already and there are chance of it getting lost in the mail. You can make an Infopass appointment to inquire about it instead of worrying about it.
