How long is FP valid?

Is it valid for 15 months from the date of finger printing or date on which it was processed and given to INS?
I am posting this questions as my last FP was 6/1/99 and now i have an rfe.
I would like to know when it would expire.

What is the RFE about.

When I spoke to one IIO last friday, She mentioned it is from the date they received your FP.

My details are : RD Jan 4 99, ND Jan 12 99, FP Jun 4 99 and

My attorney never received the rfe and we have requested it thrice 6/23, 7/11, 7/26.
Today i spoke to a nice & Kind IIO, she sai she will mail it to my address instead of attorney\'s address.
Waiting to receive it.
