How long is AP approval taking

Hi :

My H1 is expiring in Oct. I need to apply for AP. How long is it taking these days?

Now they are slowly approving April's cases, but no one knows how long may it take if you will apply today.

AP approval (3/'03 -- 04/'03)

my APD renewal took about 60 days. submitted in first week of March 2003 and received (at attorney's office) in the last week of April 2003.

The first APD (in june-july 2002) took about the same time (~50 days from submission)

currently waiting on EAD renewal (its been ~65 days, likely another 60 to go (WAC-03-167-xxxxx)

My recent AP took a little more than 90 days to approve - and
this without RFE. (Submitted end of March, approved end of June)
If an RFE is requested (this happens now about 25% - 40% of the times) you need to reserve another 3-4 weeks.

So if you need to travel in October, submit your AP ASAP.
