How long for EAD at NSC?

How long is is taking to get EAD at NSC. My RD is Dec 30.

My RD 12/02/04. Pending. I think it takes two and a half months according to the current trend.

I got approval for EAD in little more than 2 months from NSC
EB2
ND=11/09/2004
EAD approved on 01/19/2005
I-131 (Travel DOcument) approved on 01/21/2005..

But waiting for EAD(card).

Where did you send the I-765 application .Did you send it to Chicago or directly to Nebraska.

I sent it to NSC as mine is an EB based 485. The address is:

I made a mistake sending mine to Chicago yesterday.Damn.
I'll probably cancel the check and resubmit to Nebraska.My EAD(2nd one) expires on 04/18.I hope I get aproved on time

Do we need to be working when we get our GC approved. If we are not working than what can happen?

You should be emplyed or have an offer of employment. Otherwise if there is a RFE and you cannot produce emplyment letter or offer letter, your GC will be denied.
