How long for AVM update after FP?

I had my fingerprinting done March 1st, however the AVM message is still the same old "Your I485 application was received......". I already checked with the FBI a couple of days after my FP and they said that
the results of the FP check were sent back to the VSC.

Should I be worried? Does anybody have any idea how long it takes to update the AVM message once the FP is done?

My FP was done Mar. 15 and I checked with the FBI and confirmed that the FP were successful and sent to INS 2 days later. However, the AVM has not changed. No reason for concern yet. Actually I am not sure if the AVM changes at all for FP. I would like to know if it did for anyone.

AVM doesnot change for FP..

I had my FP done on Feb 20th.. I also had similar concern.. I asked this question to my lawyer. As per my lawyer, the AVM message will not change for FP..

This is what you should do..

Call FBI after 4-5 days and check the status of FP. The most common answer is, your FP is completed on X date and sent to Vermont.

Then after couple of weeks call Vermont and ask them, if they received FP.. If they have received it then they will say so.. This is the only procedure of finding out the status of FP. AVM will always say `Your I485 application is received on....` until you get approval or RFE..

Thanks. I already did the first part (FBI), now all I need to do is be on hold for a couple of hours at VSC :-)
