How long does VSC take before "recieving" RFE?

I got an RFE 4/30 by RD is 11/2/2001. I sent the reply by certified mail on 5/12. The status has not chaged yet. How long does it typically take before they change the status to recieved RFE?

My Lawyer replied on 5/14..... status still the same, let us see , may be directly they approve our cases same time as they receive it !

You see the change in status shortly. BCIS groups mails together and enter them in batches on specific days or whenever possible. So until such a date your response will not be entered into the system. Most likely you will see it today.

I just checked the online status - it has changed to RFE recieved. So it took exactly one week.
