How long does it take to receive RFE

hello.
My spouse status changed to RFE issued on august 5th,
but till now neither my lawyer nor me received RFE.
is it normal? How long does it take to receive rfe?
any input highly appreciatable..

Usually it is a week to 10 days. Since it is over 14 days and you have not received the RFE, you should contact USCIS and ask them to resend the RFE.

thanks a lot. I called uscis, they asked me to call back after september 5 th..they usually inquire after 30 days.
