Hi, during interview, do they check your NY Statement driver license as a proof for your residency(ny state)? If not , what documents do INS ask you to show to prove your NYC resicency? thanks.
Your utility bills can be a good proof. If you are renting - then use the apartment lease or if you own house then your house docs.
PS: This is not a legal advice
RD - Dec 01
FP - Feb 02 ( first FP )
FP - Scheduled for April 02 ( however got it done in Late March 02, 2nd Time )
Interview letter - Apr 02
Interview Date - Jul 02 ( NYC )
Oath - ???
Please advise if any other people in same time line.
I have read somewhere that we can apply N-400 90-days before the 5-years are completed (Permanent Residency).
Can I apply 90 days prior to my 5-year completion?
If I could apply 90 days prior then what will happen to the application? Will it be just sitting at INS? Will they start processing? (maybe look at sending FP papers I hope)
I am curious to know.
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Regards
