how long does it take to get h4 visa renewal when using drop box

all,

i am trying to find out how long does it take to get your passport back when you apply for h4 visa renewal using drop box. my wife applied for it last monday (11/24/2003). she submitted the truck loads of documents to include everything asked for by the consulate.

i know the consulate was closed on wednesday (11/26/2003) and thursday (11/27/2003).

any body with recent experience. what is the general processing time for visa renewals using drop box.

For getting good information you need to give full information, you didn't tell which consulate. If someone has specific information about one consulate then you would get a better idea.

BTW my wife applied for visa through drop box last month at Delhi Consulate (India) and she got passport within one week.

thank you premchopra. my wife applied for visa (using drop box) at the chennai consulate.

any information on the time frame at the chennai consulate when one uses drop box will be helpful.
