sorry did not get what you mean that depends on my do.

DO means District Office. The way i see it is that it does not only depend on your district office, but also on where you are located. Average from what I think is like i said, 50 days after doing your biometrics. That is when you should get something for your I-765.

I-485 I-130 transferred to California Service Center, what does this mean?

got an e-mail from USCIS said that my
I485 I-130 transferred to California Service Center, what does this mean?

I am amazed at the confidence at which most people answer your question about when the I485 should be approved. Perhaps they know something we don't know.

What I KNOW is that there is no definite answer to that question. It does depend on your DO somewhat, but also on when your security check clears. For some people 2 months, for some 6 months, for some unlucky ones 2 years.

Keep checking on your case every couple of months, but go on with your life. There is no definite answer. No two cases are alike.

That's true. It wasn't my intention to encourage any unfounded optimism. However based on reported experiences on this NG, having one's case transferred to the CSC seems to result in adjudication without an interview. Is that a rule that applies to every case? Perhaps not. Nothing is ever guaranteed with USCIS, and there is certainly no (published) procedural code mandating adjudication with no interview for cases transferred to the CSC.

Out of curiosity johnsonyj, what status are you adjusting from? I think most people that have their cases transferred to/and adjudicated at the CSC without an interview adjusted from a K-1. The fact they were interviewed for the K-1 is more likely the reason an interview for AOS wasn't required.

Hi:

Transfer to the CSC is done as part of backlogging procedure ---- it does not imply that the applicant will not be interviewed. However, many K1 cases do adjust without an interview --- hence the trend you noticed.
