How long does it take to apply for US citizen

If I get GC through marriage to a PR holder(not US citizen). How long is it requested for me to wait to apply for US citizen after getting my GC? Is it 3 years (which is same as GC through marriage with US citizen), or 5 years?

Well, if your spouse becomes a citizen then:

you could apply for citizenship if

1. You have been an LPR for at least 3 years.
AND
2. Your spouse has been a citizen for at least 3 years.
