How long does it take once case has been assigned to an Officer?

I called IIO on Monday and I was told that my case is with the officer and under review.
How long does it take once case has been assigned to officer?

Anywhere from today till ....

After the case has been assigned to on officer it still may take from today till 8 weeks or more for any reponse. My RD is 9/15. I had called on Aug 29 and they said the case is under review and yes it has been assigned to an officer. I have not recd anything yet ( no rfe no approval). Every time I call they tell me 2 weeks or 4 weeks.

The above is not to discourage you but just to keep your expectations is check. I had been hoping for my approval almost a month ago but I haven;t heard anything. Also I believe my case has no complexities (like employer changes, etc.). Same and only employer for last 4 years in US.
