how long does it take for I-824 request to be processed

My I-130 (immediate relative) petition was approved in July 2024 and I filed an I-824 for moving the green card processing to consular processing.
I-824 Part 2 1.d that says "USCIS to send my approved immigrant visa petition to the NVC"

can someone please tell me if that is the right option to chose and also how long does it take USCIS to process these requests? I filed mid august 2024 and based on what I read it takes about 6-8 weeks, but nothing happend so far.
 
On average recently it has taken 6.4 months for USCIS to process an I824, but this can very widely depending which service center is doing it.

I dont think so. The approval notice said that the beneficiary was assumed to be in USA already based on the address given for communication. Probably it was a mistake to give the US address
