How long does it take for I-140 receipt

Hello Everyone,
I have applied for I-140/485 on 10th september, 2004. I have not got any receipt or any proof other than the UPS delivery number., which says it has reached on 10th septmeber 2004.
My company is not willing to give me the details of the back side of the check to reveal the EAC number nor does my Lawyer respond to any emails or Phone calls.

Is there any one around that same time period still waiting for the receipts.

Please share your info.

I wouldn't worry. You know that the application has reached the office (by the way which one?), so that you should be calm about. It is a pitty that your employer doesn't let you know more information.
I filed concurrently at Vermont on 24th of August and didn't recieve anything at all until 23rd of September, when EAD itself arrived in my mail (I filed myself). I still don't have 140 or 485 receipt numbers, but called and requested for them to be sent (based on 30 days since I filed my application).
It is complicated when you can't control the matters, but I would say that it is not abnormal, that you shouldn't worry. My EAD is approved, I still don't have other receipt numbers, and I filed my application almost two weeks earlier than you did. Patience.
