How long does it take for EAD approval

My EAD ( approved from Nebrasca Service Center) would expire on the 1st week of January 2004, if I would apply for the extension by the next week, would I be getting the EAD approval in time.

Help.
 
The rule of thumb is to apply atleast 90-120 days before your current EAD expires. Again, check with your lawyer for the best times to apply.

My first EAD was approved in 1 1/2 months. 2nd just got approved in a little less than 2 months.
