How long does it take for AP to be approved

Hello everyone,
I need your advice on applying for AP. I have already applied I-485,i-765 and other forms and even have even had my AOS interview and am waiting on FBI results. I recently ot my EAd and am planning to use it intead of transfering my H1 to join a new job.The question i have is how long is it normally taking for AP to be approved. I am in santonio DO area. I am planning on going out of country in next couple of months and wanted to make sure that i wouldnt be stuck inAP processing like how am stuck with FBI namecheck results for 485.Advice please.

In my case AP ND 11/09, approved 12/30, received 01/06/2006...less than two months.
 
I think 3 months would be a safe bet for getting the AP. Remember, it sometimes takes up to 3 weeks for the AP to reach you once it has been approved. Mine took 15 days from the date of approval to reach me.
 
I got the AP approval online

I got it in email today. said the AP was mailed out. So happy. Will book a flight ticket for Jan 21 right away. It is mailed from Lee's Summit NBC, right? I live here, so it wont take long to get here. But i have a question, what if I can not get the actual card before my flight date, you all know that happens all the time :( Can I leave this country and ask my friend to mail that to me? Thanks.

If I were you I wouldn't risk to leave USA without the AP ...not even to be mailed overseas...... But you will see, you will get in time your AP before your flight.Mine was arrived in 6 days after approval.........You can take the risk to leave USA without AP, but you will face another concern waiting the mail with AP overseas ....
Let's wait and hope to get your AP in time.

Hi everyone,
I need some help with the i 131 form. On Part 1 point 3 Class of Admission, what does it actually mean? I came into USA as student and am presently on H1 so what should i fill in
