We usually don't see any approvals at the first half of the week. Does it mean them need more than half week to process a case? Or, they just update AVM at the last half of the week?
How long does it take for an officer to process one case?

An IIO told me today that my case was very recently assigned and it takes upto 4 weeks for a decision. It could be as short as a couple of days though.

It really doesn't matter how long it takes an IIO to look at an application and approve it, does it?
What counts is from the minute you submitted your application
to the time your passport will have been stamped. And we all know too well this takes at least a painful, very painful, year, not couting the years before it for LC and I-140.

When I had asked an IIO the same question he had told me anywhere from 3 to 180 days. Depending upon the complexity of the case.
