When the person goes to the civil surgeon, how long takes the process of the I693 FORM in order to send it?
thank you

Depends

If the skin test for TB is done, it is read after 2 or 3 days.

Also, if the doctor knows what to do, it is easier. The civil surgeon i went to was planning to get wrong part's filled in the medical form for me (My PPD came back positive and X Rays were clear of TB). He wanted to fill Part 3 and Part 4 of the medical, which according to USCIS website says - will (due to error) be rejected. If you are dealing with such a doctor - it might take longer.

Check the USCIS link below:-

Up to 1.5-2 weeks. Skin test takes 3 days. If it's positive you have to do x-ray (which is couple more days). And if the doctor (office) is slow it'll take couple days to finish everything. Also if you want to do the blood test (to avoid shots and that's what I did), it's also 3-5 days I believe. So best case scenario - 3-4 days, worst one - 1.5 weeks or so.

You can choose to do the blood test. That's what I did for rubella (I had shots, but lost record) and chicken pox (I had it when I was a kid).

Does blood test cheaper than the shots?

I don't know where you are located, but friends of mine to save on shots went to the State clinic for that. I believe they were much cheaper. You can try to google. As for blood work - I don't know the price different because I didn't even ask about the shot price (just went directly with the test).
