how long does a n-600 typically take?

N-600 is processed at local office. It is very dependent on which local office it is. San Jose for example is very bad, they show processing time of November 2006, however, San Francisco shows processing time of August 2007. So, in order to find a meaningful estimate one needs to know which local office it is.
 
Cool. Atlanta is showing a processing time of July 23, 2007. They might still be digesting the big end of July / before fee increase rush. So, expect around 6 months.
 
Field Office Atlanta

Hi guys,
I just sent my package to TSC a week ago and my Field Office will be Atlanta as I looked it up on the USCIS with my zipcode. What exactly does the processing time for the various Field Offices mean. Does it mean that people that sent their package in July are receiving their Interview/Oath Dates right now? Thanks for explaining :)
