hi, every one:
i received my green card a few months ago, took a long trip outside the US, when we came back , i went to social security office to remove the notation on my SS card, got a receipt said i will receive my new card in 10 days, if i have not receive it within 2 weeks, i should let them know, now it has been exactly 2 weeks and i have not received anything, do i need go to SS office again( i really don't want to wait more than 2 hours there), guys and gals, when do you receive your new card? please reply. thank you very much!

Ours arrived in about ten days. Frankly, I'd give it another week before lining up there again.

You don't need to go to the SSN Office.

The clerk at the SSN Office must have given you a letter with a phone # on it to call if you don't receive the card within 2 weeks.

Call the number ASAP. I wouldn't wait for the SSN Card to receive in my mail as it may get into the hands of bad guys.

Good luck
