how long do i have to wait for plastic cards

we had intreview on april 26th 2006 and immigration officer stamped our passports in passport he wrote a#xxxxxxxxx
and vaild date 26 th april 2007 permenent resident
but it was local office atlanta . its been a 10 days no notice or no welcome letter or no plastic how long does it take from local office
 
It depends on how your local office processes your case. For me, it's four and a half month after the interview...

thank you in my case they stamped my spouse passport also so he is very happy he left india since 1985----------------- :)
 
Did you got the card? My daughter entered at NY JFK and it is around two weeks but we didnt got anything yet. How long does it takes in NY?
