How long can wait without going for stamping after 485 approval?

I know this is strange question. One of freinds wife is going to India. They can get GC approval at any time. If their 485 get sapproved after she leaves India, is there any time deadline to get stamping done after 485 approval? Or she can come back at any time and go for stamping? Also can she come back on travel document even after 485 approval?

Appreciated any help.
 
If the GC gets approved before she leaves for India, she should wait and get the stamp before leaving.

If she leaves for India while GC is still pendind and GC gets approved while she is in India, then she can safely come back on advance parole she has and they will tell her on airport that her GC is approved she needs to get it stamped ASAP.

Normally after GC is approved one has about 1 year to get the GC stamped on PP so cards can be ordered. I would play safe and get it done in max within 6 months .
