How long can L2 stay

Hi,

I am in US on L1 visa and my husband is here on L2 visa.
My Husband has got work permit and he is working in US.

For some reasons I have to go back to India. But I will be working with the same company. My L1 visa is valid for another 2 years and my husband Visa is also valid for another 2 years.

Since I will be working with the same company my L1 visa is valid.
Can my husband stay in US if I go back to India?
 
L2 status depends on valid status of L1. If L1 expires, so does L2.

In your case, if you donot get paid in US when you leave US, it could be a problem.
