I am working under my OPT wich will expire in June 21st. I have the problem of the gap between my OPT expiration and the H1B 2006. With all the buzz about the new cap for FY2005, I am really concern and even more confussed..
What should I do???
1. What is best recomended, should I try to apply for the new FY2005 cap (but still that cap is unknown and applications for FY2006 are just around the corner..) and what chances are that I can get one of those?
2. Or should I just apply for the FY2006 cap... In this case, will I be able to remain in the country, after my 60 day grace period (wich still will be before october 1)? Or do I have to arrange any travel plans for that period?
