I am on a blanket L1B. The petition was approved in apr 2002, but I came to US last year - apr 2004.
Now my company applied for the petition renewal and it has been renewed till apr 2007.
I know that the max time a person can stay on L1b is 5 years.
Now
1. Is the 5 years counted from the petition approval date (apr 2002) or the date on entry into US (apr 2004) ?
2. I want to apply for my GC soon. Is there a extension similar to H1 for L1 also after the 5 years are completed ?
