how long can dependant be out of country?

How long can dependant be out of country after applying AOS and AP?
If we get AP after dependant depart US , Can she come back with that AP?

AP should be approved before leaving US.

Can come back any time before the current AP expires.
If a FP notice is issued, Plan to appear before the time frame mentioned, so that the case is not considered abandoned.

IMHO if you are not citizen then your should not keep yourself away from US for more than 180 days
