How long before message changes to RFE Received?

I sent my RFE response yesterday .. how soon before I can expect the AVM to change to RFE received?

And how much after that "Approved" ?
 
RFE Update

BCIS issued an RFE on my EAD on 11th sept. I think we recieved the letter on 17th sept and in a day we replied. BCIS updated their website on 29th sept and on 1st october they approved the application.

The approval came within a day of updating the website.

BCIS issued an RFE on my AP as well on Sept 25. We received the RFE on 30th sept and sent it by FedEx the same day. No change on website.

I've heard that approvals come as quickly as within one week of sending the response.

I guess we can just wait and see what BCIS has in store for us.
 
Hi SM,

It usually takes a week to update it. I got RFE on 6/10 and replied on 7/3. They updated the website saying they received on 7/10. I haven't heard anything from them so far. My FP also expired on 7/23. God knows when they approve my case or send me another FP :-(

I got my 2nd FP already, and did it too. You might or might not get a 2nd FP. I have seen cases where they got approved without a 2nd FP, even though first was > 15 months.
 
Now the big question of - When will I get my approval -

So far the probability of a gay couple having a baby is higher than my getting an approval .. But we shall see.

You are so close. Dont be surprised if u receive a reply within 2 weeks. Anyway that's the pattern generally going by the postings here...

I would say Soooon. May be you should give app. a week for status to update (i.e. for RFE response to move from Mail room to your file) then another week for the file to move back to the officer -that's it.

Dude you are so close - that you should be able to smell your approval. However, one can never be sure of BCIS.

Though I am still an long way off - ever since the date moved to Dec '01, I have been so excited - as if my case is being processed at this time.

Well doesn't hurt to dream.
 
Has anyone tracked Oct approvals.
BCIS could have picked up speed as they promised. Does anyone have any info on it?
 
It would be interesting to know the touched cases in october. Can't blame kashmir he's doing another noble cause and we all should support him in that. He will get to it soon, I'm sure.Till then hang on
