How long BCIS takes...?

I have submitted my RFE last week still it is showing old message "On Oct 8 we requested for additional ............."

How long BCIS takes to update online message after submitting a RFE.

In my case, it took 12 days from the day they received it for the message to change.

In my case, never received the RFE notice, though according to online/AVM RFE was mailed on 08-04. Surprisingly both online/AVM promptly (?) changed to RFE response received. I wonder what they received, when we never sent them any info. My lawyer sent a letter and I initiated an inquiry. No response for anything.

In your case they might have received it but not updated the message. I know couple of weeks ago processing times changed to 30/90 days and after a day or two it reverted to its old song.... They make mistakes all the time...

FYI:
It took one week to update the message. Today it says "On October 31, 2003, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 365 and 540 days for us to process this kind of case. However ....."

Question:
Why does it says again 365 to 540 days...? scary ! is this common ?
