I thought that FBI fingerprint results expire after 15 months. Today I was told by an FBI representative that results are valid for 18 months. So, for what period are they valid for?

15 months as of now, but u may never know, they may have increased it to 18 months
Anything can happen with USCIS and/or FBI

Hi Explorer19.

Congratulations on your GC.Our Cases are very similar. Please help with the Info.

I have like you been applied for on the basis of a Pre-approved Labor.

I noticed that you you had a RFE on your I-140 for Original Labor. What was this RFE about? How much time did it take to get the RFE Resolved??

I have a RFE on the I-140 for Original Labor Certification.Unfortunately it is lost and as per procedure the INS has to get the same from DOL.
I am Still waiting for USCIS to approve the same and do not know how much time it will take.

Regards

hi Vicky007

Yes I had a RFE on I-140 regarding the original labor certification because my attorney had submitted only a copy of the labor certification and not the original one.

The RFE was issued first time on 5 Nov 2003 but it was sent back by the post office as the attorney's address has changed meanwhile. My attorney had to call USCIS many times and in the end USCIS reissued the RFE on 10 Dec 2003 and the RFE was sent to my employer's address instead of the attorney's.

My attorney luckily had the original labor certification with him so he replied in dec last week and my I-140 was approved on 22 Jan 2004.

Hope this is clear
