How long are FBI fingerprint results valid for?

I thought that FBI fingerprint results expire after 15 months. Today I was told by an FBI representative that results are valid for 18 months. So, for what period are they valid for?

I believe its 15 months. You need to check with USCIS and not FBI, as there are the one requiring you to get fingerprinted.
