How long and What after "Assigned to officer?"

Last week I called TSC to check what the "Document Mailed" updated
was about?
The lady told me that there was a glitch in the system that has been
reverting to an old/last status with a new LUD upon some case processing.
She said it was due to change of address and nothing was really mailed.

She also confirmed that my name check was cleared (and this time
she said it was cleared in 2003 ) . All these days I had been
told that background check was pending

I had received a response to SR saying additional review is going on.
When asked about that she did not have any answer other than saying that
it has been "assigned to an officer."
but she couldn't tell if visa number was assigned or not

So I am wondering if 'assigned to an officer' means anything or
it is still going to rot there as no Visa numbers are now available?

I was told in mid september I had been assigned to an officer, but nothing happened yet.

i was told the same cpl of weeks ago. no update yet.

This will depends on what officer was assigned on it !!! If you are lucky and he is moving right , you'll be aproved soon , i just hope so for everybody here !!! Good Luck to us all !!! God Bless !!!
