How long after the yellow letter for interview?(Washington DO)

I got the famous "yellow letter" with the document checklist to bring for the interview. How long does the Fairfax (Washington DO) take after that is sent out to schedule an interview?

My wife's interview letter came almost a month ago and nothing yet for me :-(

How did you find out that your application has been placed in queue for interview? is there a number to call?

There's a phone number listed on your NOA and fingerprint notification. Call that number, and then press 1, 2, and then 3. Then ask the first level IO to transfer you to the second level IO, who will have access to your status. Hope this helps.
