Hi,
I have heard that people generally get approved after 1-2 months of FP2? Is this true? or just a plain speculation? Can someone comment?

Some people have gotten it in a couple of weeks others have not gotten it even after 3-4 months. But 1-2 months is a good estimate.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear friends:
First of all accept my thanks to all, thsoe are keeping this thread is really valuable source of information to all.
1. ND 03/13/2002 (I140)
2. Then applied I-485 ( ND : 09/23/2002)
3.1FP ( 10/01/2002)
4.RFE on I-140 on march 2003
5. I 140 approved on (09/15/2003) NIW
6. 2FP 05/19/2005
7.RFE I-485 05/27/2004
8.RFE received INS on 06/ 15/2004 ( EVL, J1 Waiver, IAP-66 forms)
My point is how long it will take maximum to get approved. Minimun may be 2 days but I want to know maximum I can expect , if before that, it got approved by GOD's grace ok.
Thanks
Jayram

no clear answer

I don't mean to discourage anyone, but it seems that it really depends, and definitely there is no rule on this. I have seen one case who got a second FP2 and RFE in early 2003, but still waiting now. His 485 receipt date was Nov/Dec 2001. every case is different, unfortunately, no body knows how INS works on these.

For myself, I did my fp2 in early June, and it has been a month, still nothing happens, last update date didn't even change. So don't hold your breath on anything, even you got an FP2, or RFE, until you get the approval notice, doesn't really means anything.

My details are:
EB3 concurrent
ND: 10/2002
FP1: 11/2002
FP2: 5/2002 (scheduled for 6/2002 but did it a month early).
Ad?

I also recently registered on USCIC website and I saw that Last updated date was changd to few days after I took my FP2.

Already wasted so much money on EADs since my smart ass lawyer filed it in Texas instead of Vermont and had to resubmit all over again.
