How long after finger printing/aos application?

Hi All,

I applied for AOS on July 10th. My FP was done in August.

When will I get greeen card approval?

I am planning to get married in Dec and my wife is coming with me in Dec. I don't want to get approval my wife applies for AOS based on my application.

You should check the rupnet.com site to know the waiting time. I think you have some risk by waiting till Dec. For instance, I got my approval 2 months after FP. You may know once you are approved, you cannot file adjustment for your wife. This could be a serious problem.

Kum3, you mean to say you got your 485 approval after 2 months of your completing your FP .

alright zapper2002, I did have a seniority of about 9 months at the time of fingerprinting unlike chaudks. I got the approval from TSC after 2 months of fp. I feel it is not a good thing to finish fp and wait for months before marriage. You never know how INS behaves.

The fingerprinting has nothing to do with the wait.. Currently green cards from nebraska are taking a bit more than 400 days since receipt date... regardless of fingerprint date... So go to RUPNET.com with your receipt notice on hand and check your month and center....
Forget about the fingerprints..

I did my fingerprint last week in Nashville TN. I asked the officials if I was going to be approved soon. They responded fingerprinting does not mean early approval. The way things are done in TSC it is often tedious to predict outcome.
